The STEM Initiative in Maine is beginning with the statewide STEM Summit January 24, 2008 at the Augusta Civic Center, in Augusta ME. The purpose of the STEM Summit is to raise the awareness of key constituencies of the importance of STEM education for Maine youth's future, its connection to the economic prosperity of Maine and to commit to improving STEM education in Maine. Fifth Annual NSF ITEST Summit
February 4-6, 2008, Arlington, VA
The summit is a great opportunity to:
- learn more from NSF and talk individually with program officers about the goals and specifics of the ITEST program
- make new and deepen existing connections with colleagues from across the country
- share what is being measured and learned by ITEST projects
- collaborate to shape the future of the LRC’s collaboration/TA activities to support your work and the goals of the ITEST program
